Who am I to say that I love you

you have been fucked before
who am I to say
that I love you

How does my heart weigh
how much would it be worth
can I buy some bread with it
or maybe some of your affection

Does it even matter
It was all fun and play
It was all cool
then why does my heart ache
why do I long in loneliness

Maybe coz you went onto do great things
and I fell down into the depths of hell

Music is the only thing
that seems to soothe my stinging heart
don’t pity me
put some salt and lick my wounds
let it burn

Following the elusive fruit of love
I fell from the land of fun
and all things nice
into this place
where I long and long for one kiss
one loving kiss from your loving lips
